:: Reminiscing Again... ::
Yesterday was an eventful day... sort of... after sleeping off my fever (damn the virus!) for most of the day, woke up and got ready to head out of the house with a spliting headache... to meet the gang at marche for dinner! as is with all dinners at marche, it ran along the lines of delicious, scrumptious, appetizing, yummy, delectable and i could go on and on and on... but that's not the point...

Last night was the first class gathering where Emeline and Lup appeared as husband and wife... and as most would have expected, all the marriage jokes came tumbling out! Meisin even encouraged her to divorce Lup!! Probably sound horrible and crude as you read this, but was actually quite a joke last night... *shrugz* what can i say? we're weird that way... hehehe...

As is with most gatherings, it's when we're all sitting down with a good 'ol cuppa that the fun starts rolling... and last night was no exception! old school gossip, bitching about lecturers, the babes and the okay looking guys back in sch (it'll be too much of an over-statement to call the HUNKS!)... brought back the fun times of yesteryears... man oh man... do i sound old!!! hahahaha... but it does seem that... when we look around the table, almost everyone was holding a full-time job... save the guys who are /about to enter the army... serving the nation.... NOT! *grin*

So here's to Us *raises glass of latte (that kept me up till 4am!)*, and the next gathering/farewell for the poor chaps going overseas (to Tekong Island!!)... and many many more in months to come...

hey kids!! i'm back (as the topic so aptly says it all...)! sorry i've been away for like, forever... hee... but at the Club, it's been a crazy couple of weeks... just last week was the Get Kids Afloat (GKA) Programe... where we have hundreds of screaming, crying, whining kids running amok... driving almost everyone (most definately me!!) crazy! then right after that was the Club's Ground Breaking Ceremony at the Chnagi grounds... and then monday, and tuesday, and here i am! in the office on a rainy/sunny wednesday...

quite a bit to catch up on, actually... went out drinking Friday night... with my ex-classmate/ex-colleague Guo Feng (or Kenny, to some...)... i have to say, it's been AGES since i last had a drink with him... and in all that time, i've forgotten what a good drinking buddy he is... so yea... we met up for drinks at Boat Quay... and well, drank. hahaha... but well, we've both... er.. how to i put it? LOST IT! *grin* for want of a better term... whta do i mean by that? well... during our attachment (favourably known as 'Clarkson Days'), we used to go drinking quite a bit with the brokers after work... and throgh their 'training', Feng and i could actually hold our liquor pretty well... drink all night? No problem! Even if it's on an empty stomach? Nothing to it! you get my drift? but well... om Friday night / Saturday morning, between the 2 of us, we could only manage 5 jugs of draft before we both admitted defeat... what do i have to say to that? BAH!

so anyway, we met up for drinks... and reminisced abt the past... a favourite topic was definately Clarkson days... and we had a blast trying to recall names of clients... and their habits... and of course, the wonderful pple at Clarksons... all the fun we had... and the D&Ds... and basically almost everything... Now. you might be wondring why i', actually talking abt this... why am i going on and on and on and on abt this... Well... first of all, its my blog, so i'm entitled to say whatever i want! secondly, this is what happened to me, so it's blog worthy... and lastly, i really, really miss Clarksons... and talking abt it with feng on Friday made me decide to drop by the office after 3 months of missing in action.

that's where i was yesterday. that's right... after slogging at work for 12 days straight, i went back to Marina House on the first day i could actually get some decent rest! but i don't regret it for a minute. it was great fun lunching with them... then gossiping after... hahaha... caught up on my Clarkson gossipvine yesterday... and great news all round...

Ian Butler finally got engaged!!! It's about time... seeing as he's been going out with his gf for ages... so Cheers to him! and David Hawkins is going to be a father!!! this one came as a surprise... a BIG surprise... not that i'm implying anything abt dave, but in all the time i've known him, he has nvr struck me as a 'Fatherly' figure... so it's a little tough trying to picture an infant in his arm... an infant that will one day call him 'Dad'. But he seems excited abt it, and reckons he'll be a good dad, so here's a shout to him. too! also, it's great to see that although the pple at my beloved Clarksons have changed, they really are the same pple i knew a year and a half ago... if that even makes sense... but i miss them , and love them loads... so here's to Clarksons *raises glass of Ribena*, and to the next gathering we have...
