yes, yes, i know... i've been MIAing again... sorry, sorry! it's just been hectic all day... all week... almost all month! actually, i think its more than a month... other than the last post (which actually amounts to nothing), it's been more than a month since i last posted! anyway... updates...
andrew has resigned. his last day was 30 June. Talk about fast!! One minute we were just kinda bobbing along... waiting for the management to react to his resignation letter, the next andrew was just msging me telling me that it was his last day! talk abt sudden! sigh... i've lost a great boss... and the days of working with a good friend have come to an end... so it all ended with a dept BBQ... totally great food, thanks to Jo's mom!
on another note... i've got my promotion... and its the first promotion that i'm not exactly thrilled about! first of all, it made the fact that andrew is no longer around all the more real, and we're talking major loss to me... it also means hella more work... think how i used to work? add that to andrew's workload... and times that by like, ten. that's me at the moment. i'm working like, 12 hour days... even though i try my hardest to leave as early as i can... there's just too much work, too little time!!! i mean, pleaseee... it's a yacht club! how much work can the sea sports dept have, right? but believe you me, the work just piles up!!!
take today for instance... i had targeted to leave the office by 8, latest... but things came up... plan this, do that, and before i knew it, it was like, a quarter to ten!!! a quick mail out to thomas, shuffle papers ard my desk to look a little neater, and i was out to catch the ten o'clock shuttle home. home, and back on the computer, chceking the office email again!!! sigh... this is even worse than when i was working with Clarksons!!! heh... "who would email you so late, anyway?", you might be asking. heh... i have some pretty hardworking colleagues and clients! just when i thought i had cleared all my emails before leaving for home... voila! thomas is still tapping away at his computer at the other end of singapore... retrieved his mail when i got home... GO HOME!!! GO HOME!!! Thomas... you missed your target by a long shot, love!!! =P
anyhoo... enough abt work... i think its enough for the moment... i'm tired... but truthfully? i think its coz i'm feeling to lazy now to think abt what else i can blog abt!!!
