hey guys! is your shoe rack like mine? brimming with shoes, and in dire need of more room for that lovely new pair from Nine West? have any old shoes that you don't wear/need anymore? or do some of them not fit? well, why not do your part for charity and get rid of them at the same time?? something that came in on the email below...

All JWest and Malebox boutiques, under the umbrella of Nautical Concept Pte Ltd, will be commencing with a Charity Initiative from the 15th of February to the 7th of March 2004.

As part of our on-going contribution to the community, the aim of this initiative is to provide usable footwear for the poor under the purview of The Salvation Army.

If you have any old shoes that no longer fit, or are left unused, we encourage you to bring them down to any JWest or Malebox boutique and we will select the ones that are in wearable condition to be handed over for redistribution among the poor.

In exchange for your generosity, you will receive from us Money Vouchers - valued at $15/- for every ladies' pair collected and $25/- for every men's pair collected - that you can redeem off your next regular item purchase.

good trade-off, if you ask me... esp when some of my shoes don't even cost me $15!! haha... i'm think my flip flops... but what are the chances that they'll want that, eh? =p
