:: I'm Alive... ::
hey kids... yes, i know... i've done it again... gone missing, totally engrossed in my work, studies (okay, not so much this, but i try!), and... and basically that's it.
it's not intentional, this MIA thing... or the not-blogging thing... or the not-wanting-to-chat-on-the-phone thing... but i'm just sooooo tired after each day at work, talking all day on the phone, that all i want to do when i get home is veg, that is, if i get home early enough to veg (as opposed to instant knock out after a quick shower when i crawl home at 2am after a night of heavy entertaining - read: heavy drinking - with clients...!) I'M JUST TIRED!
i make little mental notes to myself everyday... things i wld like to blog about... things i want to tell you guys...
like the taxi uncle who was telling me about his family, and he calls his wife and 3 daughters his "old honey and 3 sugars", which i thought was totally hilarious!! bearing in mind, of course, that this uncle was talking tome half the time in teochew!!
or my comments on Singapore Idol... how werid, and funny, and refreshing the show is from the usual sitcoms and dramas on the telly... i very nearly laughed myself off the couch when the "Careless Whisper"er came on, and across the screen flash the words "This is the actual volume. Please do not adjust your tv sets."!!! what can i say? i'm easily tickled...
or that i'll finally be going on a vacation soon? yes... going to taiwan with 2 of my girlfriends to eat and shop the whole of Taipei! *grin* so that's something i'm looking forward to...
and of course, i apologise to all those people that i've neglected the last few months... i'm sorry if i've become anti-social... or grouchy/bitchy... or you know... all that stuff... it's just that work/school has been totally crazy (i'm still in the office now!!!)... and i'm just trying to come up to speed with everything... so bear with me for a bit, and hopefully everything will be fine soon...
so, think this is a long enough post this time around... and i promise i will try to post more often, and stay up to date with everyone... if you need to find me, you know how to reach me... usually msn/yahoo messengers work fine...
